Limits on Damage Awards

§12.110. 2 years from injury or reasonable discovery, not more than 5 years from act.

§31.740. Punitive damages not awarded if physician is found acting in scope of duties without malice.

§31.250. All parties and attorneys to participate in some form of dispute resolution within 270 days of action filed unless case is settled or parties voluntarily waive in writing.
